According to a recent survey of over 200 foundries conducted by IIT Bombay, most of them are aware of the benefits of simulation, but are unable to use it because of high cost and technical manpower requirement. To overcome these constraints, you can start with a casting simulation + training project. One of your own castings will be designed and simulated, and all related steps will be explained in detail to your engineer. By the end of the project, you have an optimized casting with better quality assurance or yield, as well as an engineer with first-hand experience in simulation.
